Outstanding images enhanced by Daylight Basic View technology

The PT-EX600 showcases the latest in 3LCD display technology, including a native XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution, 6,000 lumens of brightness and an outstanding 5000:1 contrast ratio. Image quality is furthered enhanced by Daylight View Basic technology to achieve sharp, easy-to-see images by clearly reproducing the details in dark image areas, which were previously difficult to see in brightly lit rooms. A built-in sensor measures the ambient light, and the Daylight View Basic function adjusts the halftone colour and brightness level according to the surrounding illumination.

Eco-conscious engineering and design

This projector is equipped with an Eco Filter which does not require cleaning for up to 12,000 hours and has a lamp replacement cycle of up to 4,000 hours. The use of LCD panels with inorganic alignment layers further enhances the overall durability of the unit. With the Intelligent Lamp Control system that automatically adjusts the lamp output in accordance with the brightness of the projected image and the Eco Management feature, overall power consumption with the PT-EX600 is significantly reduced.

Excellent installation and operation flexibility

The zoom lens, powered horizontal/vertical lens shift and interchangeable lenses allow for a flexible vertical 360 degree installation, so you can adapt to a wide range of room sizes and shapes. When lights or ventilation holes are located in the ceiling mounting site, you can simply relocate the projector to avoid them. And when replacing existing projectors, this can reduce costs by permitting the use of existing mounting positions and cablings.

A wired LAN system makes remote control simple

A web browser on a computer connected through a wired LAN system lets you remotely operate the PT-EX600. An e-mail messaging function can also notify you when a lamp needs replacement, and indicate the overall projector status. In addition, Multi Projector Monitoring and Control Software is included for monitoring and controlling multiple Panasonic projectors from a single PC. The wired LAN terminal is compatible with PJLink™ (Class1), an open protocol that is used by many manufacturers, to enable integrated control of systems that contain different brands of projectors.
