The Channel Awards recognizes the best products available in the Latin American markets, and are organized by the publications Compuchannel (distributed in Central America and the Caribbean), Digital Market, dLife (Colombia) and Infochannel (Mexico). This year’s event was celebrated on Nov. 19 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic with the participation from the top IT and electronics companies in the industry.

The DH-401S BD-ROM received high marks because of the capability it offers consumers to be able to use it as a playback device for high-definition televisions. Consumers need only connect an HDMI cable from the PC to the TV to play Blu-ray disc movies, which translates into savings of hundreds of dollars on the purchase of a standalone Blu-ray player used solely for that purpose.

The DH-4O1S BD-ROM comes with a SATA cable for easy connection.  It also comes with the latest Cyberlink Power DVD software for playback of Blu-ray disc media, DVD, or CD multi-media content.
